*PVU (Processor Value Unit) is the unit of measurement IBM uses to determine license fees. A normal single core processor measures 100 PVU, while multi core processors can be 200-800 PVU depending on the type. Databases like MSSQL, Exchange and Lotus Notes can also have PVU values. Each machine in our system is registered with a PVU value and our pricing is based on that. Virtual machines are exempt from licensing fees because IBM does not charge for virtual processors. Our machines are most commonly registered with 100-200 PVU and we charge 2000-4000 kr. a month for them.
Renting Computer labs
Computer labs have an hourly rate (number of computers x 150 kr. per hour) and are only rented out as a whole. Read more about renting a computer lab: Reservations for the computer labs.
