Sometimes it is neccesery to know what operating system is running on your device. In iPhone and iPad the operating system is called iOS. Here is how you figure out which version of the iOS your device is running:
1) Tap on "Settings":
2) Select "General" and then "About":
3) Here next to "Version" you can see which one you are running. In this example it is 10.2.1:
